How often do you check the status of the Aion servers?
We run an inspection every 60 seconds on all Aion servers, both NA and EU.
How often do you check the patch versions?
We check these every 15 minutes. When an update is released, we announce this on our @aionalerts Twitter account. (Not to be confused with @aionstatus)
How accurate is your Aion Maintenance Status schedule?
We try to get our times as accurate as possible. We know the Aion Maintenance always begins on time, but it takes roughly 90 to 120 minutes to complete. We can never be 100% accurate, because maintenance takes as long as it takes!
Do you have any plans on adding more to the API?
At present, we have a few extra features we are implementing into the current API. These include custom stylesheets (CSS), appropriate flags (DE, FR, etc..) and other minor options.
Why do I get server offline status emails when a server is still online?

Sometimes an Aion server may be slow in responding back which produces a 'Timeout', (the blue icon). To overcome this, we have implemented a procedure of extra attempts if we get no response back. If we continue to get no response, then we make the decision that the server is offline.

We are constantly making adjustments to this procedure to get it as accurate as possible, but also as fast as possible. Since we first introduced our alerts system back during the release of Aion, we have decreased the amount of false positives by a high amount. So we can safely say that it's working!

Why are some pages and text not translated into my language?
Unfortunately, the translated versions of the content is user-submitted, and if your language hasn't been added to the site then it means that nobody has contributed to it. If you wish to contribute to the translations and have a mention on the site, visit the contribute page.
